4 Series
Our 4 Series NVR introduces artificial intelligence to the operating system. This ability provides face detection, AI perimeter, SMD+, and smart search through the NVR.
The 4 series NVRs are capable of recording at 4K resolution at 30 frames per second, 4K live display, higher power output for PTZ cameras, Smart H.265+ AI recording, and 256 Mbps data/processing speeds. AI by NVR can perform 1-channel face detection and recognition, 2-channel perimeter protection, and 4-channel SMD+.
16 Channel
The Montavue MNR4216-16P-AI is our 4 Series 16 Channel NVR. Equipped with 16 built-in PoE ports designed for up to 16 IP cameras to connect. These ports power the cameras and provide information transfer to all 16 PoE connected cameras simultaneously. This NVR can support 16x 4K cameras recording at maximum bit rate and 30 frames per second, ensuring the clearest video possible. Featuring an HDMI and VGA output, allowing for two independent monitors, giving you more options for screen customization.
MTT8106-AISMD-DI-AD-S4
Part of the Peak 4.0 series, the MTT8106 records at 4K or 8MP resolution at 30 frames per second with a 106° field of view. It performs many abilities like active deterrence, dual illumination, color night optics, 100 ft IR LED nightvision, two-way audio, and artificial intelligence features like SMD 4.0, perimeter protection, and scene self adaptation.
Our most advanced fixed-angle camera will be useful in any situation. Equipped with a hard aluminum body, IP67 weather protection, and a temperature range of -40°F to 140°F, this camera can operate in nearly any location or environment.
Active Deterrence & Dual Illumination
Active deterrence consists of lights and sirens that are activated when the MTT8106 detects motion, particularly humans and vehicles. The lights and siren are completely customizable and optional, meaning you can have just lights, just sirens, or none. Customize their schedule to be active during certain parts of the day, specific days of the week, or keep it active 24/7. Active deterrence sends notifications to the user via the Montavue GO app and is extremely effective at deterring unwanted visitors. Dual Illumination activates on motion which deploys a warm light, this provides extra active deterrence while also giving the camera more light to better view the area. This feature can also be useful for simply illuminating dark areas as a small floodlight.
3TB Included Storage
H.265 is currently the standard for security camera recording because it's efficient and fast. Montavue has advanced this idea with Smart H.265+ recording which enables the NVR's AI to conserve more hard drive space by decreasing the bit rate for objects on screen that are not human or vehicle, this means that all relevant human/vehicle targets will be more clear on screen and the rest will be recorded at a lower bit rate. This ability allows the NVR to use up to 35% less space on your hard drive while still maintaining clear visuals on your recordings.
The MTT8106 has a slot for a micro SD card. These are useful acting as a backup storage if anything were to happen to the NVR or hard drives, in that event, each camera would have independent recordings on their micro SD card that you could refer to. These micro SD cards can typically record up to 3-4 days worth of video.
Remote Connectivity
Montavue NVRs can connect to your local network and internet which enables the ability to view your system remotely using our free Montavue GO app. Montavue GO is available on smartphone, PC, or tablet and can be accessed 24/7 for free as long as you have an internet signal to your NVR and viewing device. Smart notifications can be sent to your mobile device when humans or vehicles are identified by your Montavue camera system, enabling you to respond to events while you're away.
Artificial Intelligence
In addition to the AI built into the NVR, the MTT8106 also has it's own AI capabilities to employ. Each camera is capable of performing perimeter protection, Smart Motion Detect 4.0 , AI self scene adaptation, and quick pick smart search which works together with the NVR find subjects based on specific parameters like clothing type, gender, age, etc. making your search as efficient and fast as possible.
SMD 4.0
SMD 4.0 is the latest generation of smart motion detect ability from Montavue. With a 99% accuracy rate and further recognition distance than ever before, SMD 4.0 is sure to impress with its performance. Built directly into the MTT8106 camera, this uses onboard AI to perform recognition abilities to save your NVRs processing power and AI functionality for other channels that may have better use of it.
Need some time to getting familiar to the system, but dang, this is the low cost "Skynet"
Seems specific installation angles are required to achieve optimal tracking results (recommended to test the installation height before installation). Overall cool camera.

Replaced an old doorbell with this one. Very reliable, easy to connect with existing cabling. Like so much not to have to depend on cloud subscriptions for recordings. Using a 256 Gb Micro SD Card. No issues at all for the moment after 2 months installed. Easy access to support when need it.

This is a great camera for indoors because it sits very flush with the ceiling. Unobtrusive and gets a large view of a room.
