Montavue PTZ cameras are equipped with an optical zoom of either 4x or 25x allowing you to clearly see objects that fixed lens cameras can’t.

Smart Motion Detection

Smart Motion Detection allows the camera to accurately filter out humans and vehicles for motion alerts and recordings while ignoring motion from small animals, shadows, wind, etc.

Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ)

Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ)

PTZ stands for Pan Tilt Zoom. This means a PTZ camera can move right and left (Pan) it can also move up or down (Tilt) and it has an optical zoom allowing you to zoom in and out (Zoom) without losing image quality. This can all be done remotely using apps for both desktops and mobile phones. PTZ cameras are also sometimes referred to as robos which is an abbreviation of robotic camera.
