Built-In Microphone

Most Montavue cameras are equipped with a built-in microphone. These are designed to capture clean audio without background noise or interference. Built-in microphones are semi-directional, meaning they will primarily record audio coming from in front of the camera, however, they will be able to capture louder sounds happening out of view from the camera as well.

Speaker

Montavue offers two-way audio cameras which include a built-in speaker. These speakers range in size but are all powerful and effective. Use the speaker to blast an active deterrence siren to ward off intruders or use it to communicate to a guest at your front door.

Custom Audio

All of our models that feature active deterrence sirens are capable of storing and using custom audio files as siren alternatives. This can be a simple recorded voice prompt or you can get creative with custom produced audio files, the possibilities are endless.
