5 Series

Our 5 Series NVR improves upon artificial intelligence to the operating system. With increased processing power, the 5 series NVR from Montavue gives you unparralleled AI abilities to more cameras than ever before, employ face detection, AI perimeter, SMD+, and smart search all with the power of our 5 Series AI NVR.

The 5 series NVRs are capable of recording at 4K resolution at 30 frames per second, 4K live display, higher power output for PTZ cameras. Featuring 384 Mbps bandwidth, Smart H.265+ recording, and AI by recorder: 2-channel face detection, 4-channel perimeter protection , and 8-channel SMD+ capability.

This NVR has 16 PoE ports and 1 network port. This device is intended to be used with a 16 port PoE switch when connecting more than 16 cameras. All packages with more than 16 cameras will include these PoE switches. If your are purchasing the 16 camera package and you intend to add more cameras, make sure to include a 16 port PoE switch in order to facilitate those devices on this NVR.

MTT8106-AISMD-DI-AD-AP

Part of the Peak 4.0 series, the MTT8106-AISMD-DI-AD-AP records at 4K or 8MP resolution at 30 frames per second with a 106° field of view. It performs many abilities like active deterrence, Acupick, dual illumination, color night optics, 100 ft IR LED nightvision, two-way audio, and artificial intelligence features like SMD 4.0, perimeter protection, and scene self adaptation.

Our most advanced fixed-angle camera will be useful in any situation. Equipped with a hard aluminum body, IP67 weather protection, and a temperature range of -40°F to 140°F, this camera can operate in nearly any location or environment.

6TB Included Storage

This package comes with a 6TB hard drive, however the NVR is capable of hosting up to four 20TB hard drives for a total of 80 TB of possible recording space. In addition it has an e-SATA port which allows the user to connect external SATA hard drives and hardware to extend the amount of recording capacity on your system.

H.265 is currently the standard for security camera recording because it's efficient and fast. Montavue has advanced this idea with Smart H.265+ recording which enables the NVR's AI to conserve more hard drive space by decreasing the bit rate for objects on screen that are not human or vehicle, this means that all relevant human/vehicle targets will be more clear on screen and the rest will be recorded at a lower bit rate. This ability allows the NVR to use up to 35% less space on your hard drive while still maintaining clear visuals on your recordings.

The MTT8106-AISMD-DI-AD-AP has a slot for a micro SD card. These are useful acting as a backup storage if anything were to happen to the NVR or hard drives, in that event, each camera would have independent recordings on their micro SD card that you could refer to. These micro SD cards can typically record up to 3-4 days worth of video.

Active Deterrence & Dual Illumination

Active deterrence consists of lights and sirens that are activated when the MTT8106-AISMD-DI-AD-AP detects motion, particularly humans and vehicles. The lights and siren are completely customizable and optional, meaning you can have just lights, just sirens, or none. Customize their schedule to be active during certain parts of the day, specific days of the week, or keep it active 24/7. Active deterrence sends notifications to the user via the Montavue GO app and is extremely effective at deterring unwanted visitors. Dual Illumination activates on motion which deploys a warm light, this provides extra active deterrence while also giving the camera more light to better view the area. This feature can also be useful for simply illuminating dark areas as a small floodlight.

Acupick

Acupick uses deep learning algorithms and works with NVRs to accurately match targets, such as people and motor vehicles, and search through live and recorded videos to quickly locate targets. An example of this technology in use could be someone suspicious appears on camera, simply select the suspect on any piece of video from a MTT8106-AISMD-DI-AD-AP camera on your NVR, Acupick will scan all of your footage from all of your Acupick enabled cameras to find any incidents where that specific individual appears on video and provide clips of those events. This technology can make combing through hours of footage from multiple channels take merely seconds.

***The Acupick feature on this camera is only supported on the 5 Series AI and 6 Series AI NVRs.
Lite Series NVRs and 4 Series AI NVRs cannot utilize Acupick.

SMD 4.0

SMD 4.0 is the latest generation of smart motion detect ability from Montavue. With a 99% accuracy rate and further recognition distance than ever before, SMD 4.0 is sure to impress with its performance. Built directly into the MTT8106-AD camera, this uses onboard AI to perform recognition abilities to save your NVRs processing power and AI functionality for other channels that may have better use of it.

Artificial Intelligence

In addition to the AI built into the NVR, the MTT8106-AISMD-DI-AD-AP also has it's own AI capabilities to employ. Each camera is capable of performing perimeter protection, Smart Motion Detect 4.0 , AI self scene adaptation, and quick pick smart search which works together with the NVR find subjects based on specific parameters like clothing type, gender, age, etc. making your search as efficient and fast as possible.

AI by NVR

The 5 Series AI NVR's from Montavue can employ AI abilities to cameras that otherwise would not have them. This means you can use SMD+ Human/Vehicle recognition, Face Detection, Smart Search, and Perimeter Protection. All of these abilites are harnessed through the NVR and can produce more efficient playback, increased identification accuracy, and reduce false notifications to your mobile device. The 5 Series 32 channel NVR can simultaneously perform 2 channel face detection, 4 channel perimeter protection , and 8 channel SMD+ capability, all without any built-in camera AI ability being required. Remote Connectivity

Montavue NVRs can connect to your local network and internet which enables the ability to view your system remotely using our free Montavue GO app. Montavue GO is available on smartphone, PC, or tablet and can be accessed 24/7 for free as long as you have an internet signal to your NVR and viewing device. Smart notifications can be sent to your mobile device when humans or vehicles are identified by your Montavue camera system, enabling you to respond to events while you're away.
