The Montavue 8MP MTZ8250-IRAISMD-L 25x zoom network IP Pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) features an 8MP STARVIS™ 1/2.8" CMOS image sensor for incredible low light performance. Paired with a 5.4 mm–125 mm lens this 4K PTZ camera is able to capture color details in low light conditions as low as 0.005 LUX! When it gets too dark you will be covered by 4 powerful built-in Infrared LED's giving you a black and white infrared night vision reaching up to 300ft. If that wasn't impressive enough this 4K PTZ also features Artificial Intelligence allowing the camera to distinguish between humans and vehicles. Pair this feature with our smart motion detection or IVS features such as Tripwire and you get an intelligent camera able to automatically filter recordings and notifications for humans and/or vehicles.
8 MEGAPIXEL 4K IMAGE SENSOR
The MTZ8250-IRAISMD-L 25x zoom network IP Pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) features an 8MP 1/2.8" CMOS image sensor for stunning 4K surveillance footage. 4K video contains more than 8 million pixels per frame compared to just around 2 million pixels in 1080p cameras. That's 4 times the amount of pixels which gives you 4 times more information to work with. That additional pixel information gives your surveillance footage much finer details than 1080p resulting in a higher quality image overall. The higher pixel count also enhances the digital zoom capabilities, allowing you to zoom digitally a bit farther before noticing any pixilation or blurriness.
For challenging low-light conditions, Montavue's Starlight Ultra-low Light
Technology offers the best in light sensitivity, capturing color in vivid
detail, even in lighting as low as 0.005 lux. The camera uses a set of
optical features to balance light throughout the scene, producing clear
images in dark environments. This light-sensitive technology allows the camera to remain in Color Mode and to capture more available light to reproduce color images with superior detail and contrast. In ambient lighting you will receive up to 150ft of Color Night Optics, and in complete dark situations, the infrared lights will automatically switch on and give you up to 300ft of black and white night vision range.
The MTZ8250-IRAISMD-L comes equipped with facial recognition technology which can identify faces a scene. Once the camera identifies that there is a face it can take a snapshot and store the face image to give to authorities or compare against a list of blacklisted faces etc. It supports 6 attributes and 8 expressions: Gender, age, glasses, mask, beard and expressions (anger, sadness, disgust, fear, surprise, calm, happiness, and confusion). It also supports face cutout settings: Face, and single inch photo. Three snapshot methods are also featured: Real-time snapshot, priority snapshot, and quality priority.
Intelligent Video Surveillance (IVS)
The MTZ8250-IRAISMD-L PTZ camera is equipped with our AI Intelligent Video Surveillance features plus all of the our standard features found on our cameras. These include motion detection, tripwire, and intrusion. Those IVS features allow you to monitor the area you are covering very precisely and efficiently, so you are only alerted when you want to be according to your settings. You can know exactly when someone or object crosses an invisible line, leaves or enters a space, and more. AI will automatically filter out false alarms caused by animals, rustling leaves, bright lights, and more, and uses secondary recognition during target detection to improve alarm accuracy.
NEW SMART H.265+ ENCODING
Montavue has taken H.265 encoding a step further with SMART H.265+ to help you save even more hard drive space and ultimately store more security camera footage for longer. This new an improved encoding method improves upon the existing H.265 codec using up to 30% less hard drive space compared to regular H.265 encoding and up to 80% less space than H.264. How does smart H.265 + work? smart H.526+ utilizes motion detection to determine areas of the image that have changed and only updates those portions of the image. There is no need to save the same information multiple times if that information has not changed. So by identifying moving objects we can update the video with just the moving objects information and reuse the rest of the image thereby saving a large amount of data. Not only does this help reduce the amount of storage required it will also improve streaming to your mobile phone via the MontavueGO app reducing the amount of data consumed when streaming the cameras feed on your phone.
