The MTZ8250-IRAISMD-L captures 4K at 30 frames per second with a variable zoom lens, this produces hyper-smooth video and still images at a frame rate that will provide the clearest image from a range of distances and angles.
Pan, Tilt, and Zoom
Pan, tilt, and zoom cameras (referred to as PTZ) are equipped with the ability to rotate the camera around, tilt up and down, and zoom in on objects all via remote control from either the NVR, Computer, or MontavueGO app . The MTZ8250-IRAISMD-L camera has a 360° rotation, 115° tilt, and 25x zoom magnification. It's also equipped with . SMD 4.0

SMD 4.0 is the latest generation of smart motion detect ability from Montavue. With a 99% accuracy rate and further recognition distance than ever before, SMD 4.0 is sure to impress with its performance. Built directly into the MTZ8250-IRAISMD-L camera, this uses onboard AI to detect whether moving subjects are human or vehicle, this prevents false alerts from being sent to the user via Montavue GO and ensures motion recordings only show human or vehicle activity.
Artificial Intelligence
In addition to SMD 4.0 the MTZ8250-IRAISMD-L is equipped with artificial intelligence features like face detection, Tripwire, and Intrusion. Face detection allows for recognition of features based on the subject's face such as age, gender, expression, and even facial hair. IR LED Night Vision
The Infrared LED night vision of the MTZ8250-IRAISMD-L has a distance of approximately 330 ft. Since this is infrared light, it will not be visible to humans so you can be assured that your cameras will go undetected if you so choose. With the IR LED night vision, you'll be able to see into pitch black locations to accurately capture detailed images and video of events. This camera does support low light color optics, however, if the sensors determine there is not enough light, they will activate the IR lights automatically.
IP66 Weatherproof
The MTZ8250-IRAISMD-L has IP66 weatherproof protection from the elements. Combined with an all metal exterior, this camera is virtually waterproof and dustproof. IP66 ensures that even with constant water and dust contact, the camera will still be able to function normally. Also featuring a temperature range from -40° F - 158° F making this camera suitable for even the most hostile environments.

Seems specific installation angles are required to achieve optimal tracking results (recommended to test the installation height before installation). Overall cool camera.

Replaced an old doorbell with this one. Very reliable, easy to connect with existing cabling. Like so much not to have to depend on cloud subscriptions for recordings. Using a 256 Gb Micro SD Card. No issues at all for the moment after 2 months installed. Easy access to support when need it.
