Active deterrence cameras are designed to actively deter unwanted activity using features like flashing lights, sirens, and audible messages.
While these functions are valuable for security, keeping them active 24/7 may not always be necessary or practical. Implementing a scheduling strategy allows for controlled activation during critical hours while minimizing unnecessary alarms.
Lets go over how to schedule them!
Scheduling Active Deterrence
First, log into the Main Menu and go to 'Alarm'.
Next, go to the bottom left and select 'Disarming', ensure 'Arm' is selected, Enable 'Disarm by Period', then select the Disarm by Period 'Setting'.
From here you can configure the schedule, since this is the period in which you are disarming the cameras. The green will be the duration where the active deterence cameras will NOT siren and flash lights. Once you have one day set you
Lastly, apply these settings to save everything!
Optionally, you can go to 'Sync Disarm Config with Cameras' and deselect any cameras you wish to not be scheduled.
