64 Channel
The Montavue MNR5864-AI is our 5 Series 64 Channel NVR. Equipped with 2 built-in network ports designed for up to 64 IP cameras to connect via PoE Switches. These ports connect directly to a network of PoE switches to provide speedy information transfer to and from the NVR. This NVR can support 64 4K resolution cameras recording at maximum bit rate and 30 frames per second ensuring the clearest recordings possible.

The 5 Series NVRs are designed to provide 4K live display/recording, higher power output for larger cameras, and increased AI capability for the system and attached cameras. Featuring 384 Mbps bandwidth, Smart H.265+ recording, and AI by recorder: 2-channel face detection, 4-channel perimeter protection , and 8-channel SMD+ capability.
Storage
The MNR5864-AI is also capable of supporting x8 20TB hard drives giving you a total of 160TB of hard drive space. The MNR5864-AI also has a SATA port which is used to connect to external storage to further increase your total storage capacity.
The 64 channel NVR supports H.265+ recording. Typically, H.265 is the standard for security camera recording because it's efficient and fast. Montavue has advanced this idea with Smart H.265+ recording which enables the NVR to conserve more hard drive storage by decreasing the bit rate for objects on screen that are not human or vehicle, this means that all relevant human/vehicle targets will be more clear on screen and the rest will be recorded at a lower bit rate. This ability allows the NVR to use up to 35% less space on your hard drive while still maintaining clear visuals on your recordings.
Remote Connectivity
Montavue NVRs can connect to your local network and internet which enables the ability to view your system remotely using our free Montavue GO app. Montavue GO is available on smartphone, PC, or tablet and can be accessed 24/7 for free as long as you have an internet signal to your NVR and viewing device. Smart notifications can be sent to your mobile device when humans or vehicles are identified by your Montavue camera system, enabling you to respond to events while you're away.
AI by NVR
The 5 Series AI NVR's from Montavue can employ AI abilities to cameras that otherwise would not have them. This means you can use SMD+ Human/Vehicle recognition, Face Detection, Smart Search, and Perimeter Protection. All of these abilites are harnessed through the NVR and can produce more efficient playback, increased identification accuracy, and reduce false notifications to your mobile device. The 5 Series 64 channel NVR can simultaneously perform 2 channel face detection, 4 channel perimeter protection , and 8 channel SMD+ capability, all without any built-in camera AI ability being required.
This is a great little camera. Great picture that covers the front of my house. The AI splice is crisp. Thinking about buying another for my backyard.

Nice color videos during the day and night. No more gray night vision. Much easier to identify people at night.
After a couple of phone calls, this new camera is up and working. I purchased an entire system for my recently renovated home delay in the installation… But now that all the cameras are up and running seems to be a solid well built product.
The feed better through 3/4 conduit if you have the pre-assembled caps installed on the cables.
