The Montavue Nexus 8MP (4K) turret camera delivers ultra-sharp 4K video at 20 FPS, ensuring you capture every detail in real time. Designed to connect seamlessly to your NVR for local recording it also has a microSD card slot to enable local recording for extra security. With Smart Motion Detection and intelligent alerts, you’ll only get notified when it matters, reducing false alarms and improving response time. Smart lighting and color night optics provide vivid, full-color footage even in low-light conditions. 8MP Resolution

4K security video captures four times the detail of standard HD, making it easier to identify faces, license plates, and critical details, even when zooming in. Smart Lighting

Good quality drive. Installed without any issues.

We needed to increase the capacity of our video stream recording so we ordered this 16TB drive to supplement our current 3TB drive. It installed easily after watching the Montaview install video without any issues. However, there was no SATA cable included with the drive. Luckily we had a spare in our IT room. There was also no power cable, but our NVR had an open bay and the power cable was in the NVR.
