What You’ll Need
- The MontavueGo 2.0 app (download from the App Store or Google Play).

- A stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (ensure your phone is connected to this network during setup).
Step 1: Add Your Floodlight to the MontavueGo2.0 App
Method 1: QR Code Scan
Open the MontavueGo 2.0 app and navigate to Add Device in the top right hand corner.
Scan the QR code located on the back of your floodlight camera.
Method 2: Manual Entry
If scanning isn’t possible, manually enter the device’s Serial Number (SN) instead. You’ll find this on the product packaging or the device itself.
Note: The Security Code step is skipped here—no need to worry about it!
Step 2: Enable the Floodlight’s Wi-Fi Hotspot
After adding the device, the floodlight will activate its own Wi-Fi hotspot.
Listen for the audio prompt: A voice message will confirm, “Hotspot is enabled.”
You will be able to select the network you want to connect the camera to in this section.
Step 3: Set Up Login Credentials
Create a password for your floodlight.
Pro Tip: If you plan to link the camera to a Montavue NVR, use the same password for consistency.
Optionally, add an email address for easy password recovery.
Step 4: Connect to Your Home Wi-Fi
